Sight Stones × Seeds of Happiness Handleless Mug

A mug. A memory. A friendship brought full circle.

Long before Sight Stones existed, Angela’s father, Christian Gohl, was a potter. Among the pieces he made were distinctive handleless mugs—simple vessels meant to be wrapped in your hands.

Angela treasured one of those mugs. And when it broke, the person who helped her put it back together was fellow artist and Seeds of Happiness founder Mark Borella.

There was another connection Angela hadn’t known.

Mark had known Christian. In fact, one of Mark’s favorite mugs was a handleless mug Christian had made years before.

That story, shared in Never Lose Sight, makes this collaboration especially meaningful. Together, Seeds of Happiness and Sight Stones have reimagined Christian’s handleless mug—connecting the work of Angela’s father with the art and mission that grew from her own journey.

Each handmade mug features a whimsical Seed of Happiness inside and is paired with a handcrafted Sight Stone—a reminder that even when something precious is broken, the story doesn’t necessarily end there. Sometimes it can be repaired. Sometimes it becomes part of something new.

Each time you wrap your hands around this mug, we hope it reminds you to hold close the people, moments, and things that matter most.
